AC Milan eye move for PSG striker Goncalo Ramos

AC Milan are weighing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos (h/t journalist Sacha Tavolieri). The Italian club are keen to improve their attacking options and have begun assessing several strikers ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Manager Massimiliano Allegri wants a new number nine to lead the line, and Ramos has emerged as one of the possible targets. Allegri views Ramos as a striker who can adapt to Serie A and raise the team's overall level. Talks have reportedly started with the player's representative as Milan strive to gauge whether a deal is possible. Jean-Philippe Mateta is also on Milan's shortlist. Ramos would be a good value option for Milan Ramos completed a high-profile €80 million transfer from Benfica to PSG in 2023. Despite arriving with high expectations, the 23-year-old has struggled to cement a place in Luis Enrique's starting XI. He bagged 19 goals and six assists across 46 matches in all competitions for the French champions last season. Ramos is known for his movement, hard work and ability to create and finish chances. He suits different systems and offers flexibility in attack. The Portugal international can operate as a lone striker or alongside a strike partner. He is physically strong, good in aerial duels and effective when pressing defenders. Milan have around €30 million to spend on a striker and feels that this may be enough to tempt PSG into negotiations.

Lamine Yamal vs Ousmane Dembélé: Updated Ballon d'Or odds revealed

An updated round of odds for the next Ballon d'Or award have on Tuesday come to the fore online. And they will no doubt come as altogether concerning reading for those of a Barcelona persuasion. This comes amid confirmation that Lamine Yamal has fallen some way off frontrunner Ousmane Dembélé in the race for the prize. Advertisement Wide-man Lamine's name has been heavily pushed in the Ballon d'Or debate once more over the last couple of days. This comes after Paris Saint-Germain's heavy defeat in the final of the Club World Cup saw the Barca faithful kickstart a fresh campaign for their young attacker to beat out chief 'Golden Ball' competitor Ousmane Dembélé. As alluded to above, however, if the latest odds doing the rounds online are anything to go by, then Dembélé's CWC defeat does not appear to have negatively affected his candidacy at all. In fact, as revealed by Actu Foot, citing collective bookmaker odds, the France international is considered as being in with an 83% chance of lifting the Ballon d'Or this September.
